What is the KAHI Multi Balm good for?
The KAHI Multi Balm is a Korean balm stick for fine lines, dryness and dull-looking skin. Swipe it on the eye area, smile lines, forehead, lips and neck. In a Seoul study, eye-area lines looked 39% smoother after 4 weeks.¹
Does a Korean multi balm really work?
Yes, and it has been tested. In two ethics-approved studies at a Seoul dermatology research institute, skin hydration rose 410% straight after one use and eye-area lines looked 39% smoother after 4 weeks, measured with 3D skin imaging.¹ ²
Is it suitable for mature skin?
Yes. Both studies were run with women aged 51 to 69, an average age of 59, and the balm was measured on eye-area, forehead, smile, lip and neck lines. Its rich, cushiony texture suits drier, mature skin especially well.
Can I use it around my eyes?
Yes. It was tested around the eye area, and no skin reactions were seen in the studies. Glide it gently along the outer corners and under the eyes, keeping it out of the eyes themselves.
Can I use it over make-up?
Yes. Use it before make-up for 79% better grip in testing, or tap it lightly over make-up for a midday glow.² Tap rather than drag so your base stays put.
What is PDRN?
PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotide) is a DNA fragment from salmon, used in Korean skincare for skin that looks bouncier and more hydrated. KAHI reduces it to a quarter of its original size so it absorbs easily.
Is the KAHI Multi Balm vegan?
No. Its hero ingredients, salmon PDRN and salmon collagen, come from salmon, so the balm is not vegan. It is cruelty-free.
Can I use it during pregnancy?
The balm has not been tested during pregnancy, so please ask your GP or midwife before using it while pregnant or breastfeeding. The full ingredient list is below.
Why is the balm pink?
The soft pink comes naturally from turmeric, lithospermum root and beta-carotene in the formula. No synthetic dyes are added.
