This policy explains how Ortigon Ltd, trading as KAHI UK ("we", "us"), collects and uses your personal data when you visit or buy from the KAHI UK online store. We are the controller of your personal data under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

Contact and delivery details: name, email, phone number, billing and delivery addresses.
Order details: products bought, prices, discounts, subscriptions, returns and order history.
Payment details: handled by our payment providers. We do not see or store your full card number.
Account details: if you create an account, your login details and preferences.
Messages: anything you send us, such as support emails and reviews.
Device and usage data: IP address, browser, device and how you use the store, collected with cookies and similar technologies.

How we use it, and our lawful basis

To take, deliver and support your order, including subscriptions, returns and refunds: to perform our contract with you.
To send marketing emails, if you sign up: with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link.
To show you personalised ads on other websites, based on your activity on our store: with your consent, given through our cookie banner.
To run, secure and improve the store, prevent fraud and understand what customers look at: our legitimate interests.
To keep tax and accounting records and meet other legal duties: legal obligation.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to run the store and your bag. We use analytics and marketing cookies only if you agree to them in our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of every page.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only as needed with service providers who act on our behalf, including Shopify (our e-commerce platform), payment providers, delivery companies and our email service. We may also share data where the law requires it, or with a buyer of our business. We never sell your personal data.

Our relationship with Shopify

Our store is hosted by Shopify, which processes personal data to run the store for us. To protect, grow and improve our business, we also use Shopify features that combine information about how you use our store with information from other merchants and from Shopify. For those features, Shopify is responsible for the processing, including responding to requests about your rights. International transfers

Some providers, including Shopify, process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or approved safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for six years to meet UK tax law. We keep marketing data until you unsubscribe, and account data until you close your account. After that we delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, correct it, have it deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, move it to another provider, and withdraw consent at any time. To use any of these rights, email support@kahi.co.uk. We will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
