KAHI Heat Deep Cleansing Oil (Avocado)
A self-warming Korean cleansing oil with avocado and calendula · 200 ml
About the formula
KAHI Heat Deep Cleansing Oil (Avocado) warms up as you cleanse. Massage it over dry skin and a gentle warmth spreads, softening make-up, excess oil and the day's dirt so they melt away. Add a little water and it emulsifies, then rinses clean, leaving skin soft rather than stripped.
The warmth comes from glycols that release mild heat on contact with skin: brief, comforting and relaxing. Avocado, calendula, grape seed and sunflower oils help skin feel soft and moisturised, with centella asiatica for a calm feel. Made with dry and sensitive-feeling skin in mind. 200 ml, developed in Korea.

Questions, answered
How does a self-warming cleansing oil work?
Its glycols and glycerin release mild heat when they meet your skin, so you feel a gentle, brief warmth as you massage. Nothing is heated; the warmth comes from the formula itself.
Is the warmth OK for sensitive skin?
It's made with dry and sensitive-feeling skin in mind, and the warmth is mild and short-lived. It contains fragrance, so patch test first on a small area, such as the inner arm. If it feels too warm or tingles, rinse it off.
Do I apply it to wet or dry skin?
Dry skin, with dry hands. Water starts the emulsifying step, so add a splash only once your make-up has melted, then rinse.
Does it remove waterproof make-up?
It melts away everyday make-up. For long-wear or waterproof mascara, hold a little oil gently on closed lashes for a few seconds before massaging it off, then rinse well.
Can I use it around my eyes?
Close your eyes and massage gently over the lashes to melt mascara, keeping it out of the eyes themselves. If any gets in, rinse with plenty of water.
Do I need to double cleanse?
You can rinse and go, or follow with a foam cleanser, such as KAHI's Cream Cleansing Foam, for a classic Korean double cleanse.
Will it leave my skin feeling oily?
No. Once you add water it turns milky and rinses away, leaving skin soft and comfortable rather than greasy or tight.
Can I use it during pregnancy?
It hasn't been tested during pregnancy, so please ask your GP or midwife before using it while pregnant or breastfeeding. The full ingredient list is below.
