KAHI Eye Balm CV

A silky Korean eye balm stick with fermented caviar oil, refillable · 9 g

About the balm

KAHI Eye Balm CV is the caviar edition of our Korean eye balm stick, made for the delicate skin around the eyes. The ivory balm glides on silky and sinks in without heaviness, so the eye area feels soft and looks fresh and gently glowing, under concealer or over make-up. It carries K-FILLEN, KAHI's own caviar oil, made by fermenting beluga caviar extract twice.

Our original Eye Balm is built on salmon PDRN and collagen. CV is a different formula: caviar oil with two peptides, escin and a cushion of cupuaçu butter, shea butter and sea buckthorn oil. It comes in its own refillable case: when the balm runs out, swap in an Eye Balm CV refill and keep the case. 9 g, developed in Korea.

Questions, answered

What does CV mean?

CV is KAHI's caviar edition. Eye Balm CV is a separate formula from our original Eye Balm, built around K-FILLEN, a caviar oil, rather than salmon PDRN and collagen.

Eye Balm CV or the original Eye Balm: which should I get?

Choose the original for salmon PDRN, collagen and licorice root, the formula tested in Seoul. Choose CV for caviar oil with two peptides, escin and a richer cushion of cupuaçu and shea butter, in its own refillable case. The Seoul results on our Eye Balm page were measured on the original formula, not on CV.

Eye Balm CV or Multi Balm CV: what's the difference?

Multi Balm CV is the all-over stick for face, neck and dry areas. Eye Balm CV is made for the delicate eye area: it shares the K-FILLEN caviar oil and adds two eye-care peptides, escin and cupuaçu butter.

What is K-FILLEN?

K-FILLEN is KAHI's name for its caviar oil complex: beluga caviar extract that goes through a second fermentation and is blended into an oil with macadamia seed oil and fermented botanicals. It is a skincare ingredient that nourishes and softens skin; it has nothing to do with injectable fillers.

Which refill fits the Eye Balm CV case?

The Eye Balm CV refill, a 9 g cartridge with a lilac cap. We haven't confirmed that it fits the original Eye Balm, or that Multi Balm CV refills fit this case, so buy the refill with the same name as your balm.

Does it help with dark circles?

We don't make a dark-circle claim in the UK. The balm leaves the under-eye feeling soft and looking fresher; for colour, pat your concealer on top once the balm has sunk in.

Is it safe for sensitive eyes and contact-lens wearers?

It is made for the skin around the eyes, not the eyes themselves, and it contains fragrance, so patch test first if your skin is sensitive. Put lenses in first, keep the balm to the brow bone, outer corners and under-eye rather than the lash line, and rinse with water if any gets in your eyes.

Is Eye Balm CV vegan?

No. It contains caviar extract, which comes from fish roe, so it is not vegan. KAHI doesn't test on animals.

Can I use it during pregnancy?

It hasn't been tested during pregnancy, so please ask your GP or midwife before using it while pregnant or breastfeeding. The full ingredient list is below.
